25th September 2010 Windsurfing: levington Wind Direction: NNW Wind Stength: F1 - F5 Surf / Sea State: flat - bumpy Air Temperature: OK Sea Temperature: OK Weather: nippy Max Speed: 26.24 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: arrived just be4 high tide and debated whether to bother as it was pretty gusty and rog/paul/steve were sometimes OK then nothing. As I didn't have time to lay the pro bet on dettori riding classic winner Retford, I didn't want to stay. Had reasonable 45mins on 7.8M NP RSS / 145L tabou rocket, but it was hard work. Top speed was 26kts but didn't enjoy it, as in/out of harness in the gust. Had one spectacular spin out when I hit a mass of weeds. Paul seem to plane most of the time and swainy turned up too late as tide started ripping out Frankie on redford won @7/1 so Lev cost me..£140, so no stars.....:( (FSN dont allow no stars...!) |
